Jesus said " ... my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.
That is why the prayer ministry at NTCC plays a vital and prominent role at NTCC. Below are the prayer groups that are currently operational. |
|
|
| Men's prayer The men of the church gather on Saturday mornings in the church sanctuary for a time of seeking the Lord together as they enforce the kingdom promises for their lives and families and the “Body of Christ.” |
| Intercessory prayer This prayer meeting is for seeking the heart of God to see His purposes accomplished. The word “intercessor” means to stand or go between. By it’s very nature the focus is outward and upward, rather than inward for personal needs. |
| Prayer for youth This group meets once a week for a time of concentrated prayer for our children and grandchildren. We believe our children can and will do greater things for the kingdom of God and we are committed to prayer to see this come to pass. |
| Watch of the Lord This is a time of worship and ministry to the Lord. We wait on Him to hear what He desires to say to us. Occurs on the last Saturday of the month 7pm – 9pm. |
| Pastor’s prayer partners Team is given specific prayer assignments for every day of the week, so our pastor and leaders will be covered on a continuous basis. You can pick one or two days a week or go for all seven. This is an “at your convenience” ministry. |

| Prayer instruction Prayer instruction at NTCC is focused on developing and expanding
our effectiveness in prayer. We believe that fervent prayer moves the heart and hand of God like nothing else can. |
| Urgent prayer request group A team of people connected by email is led by Pat Zarpentine. Requests sent to Pat Zarpentine will be distributed to the team for prayer. |
| Missions prayer An email list and phone chain is led by Paul and Joy Sutton. Prayer for our missionaries of the month as well as requests from the missions we support. |
