Senior Pastor - Jim Crowley

Jim Crowley

Jim Crowley was born and raised in Rochester, NY.  After working at Eastman Kodak Company for nine years, the Lord called him into full-time ministry.

The church Pastor Jim was attending in Brockport, NY sent him out to establish a new church in the Town of Greece.  New Testament Christian Church was birthed in the spring of 1981. Jim was later ordained through Elim Fellowship of Lima, NY, a ministerial fellowship overseeing roughly one thousand ministers worldwide.  Pastor Jim’s ministry is focused on prayer, preaching and raising up leaders.

Under his leadership, numerous men and women have been ordained into the ministry.

Pastor Jim is a dynamic communicator with a passion for helping people to fulfill their destiny by stepping out into their ministry calling. The strength of his preaching style is to simplify the truths of Scripture and apply them to everyday life. His love for other men of God has opened doors for Pastor Jim to be invited to work with local church pastors in establishing strong and healthy congregations. With a heart to see the Kingdom of God established throughout the earth, Pastor Jim has traveled to many countries to minister and help plant churches. He currently serves as the acting executive director of Grace House Rochester, a half-way house ministering to the needs of men released from prison on parole, as well as the Rochester Area Rep for Elim Fellowship, ministering to the approximately fifty men and women credentialed by Elim Fellowship in the Rochester area.

Youth Pastor - Laurie Crowley

Laurie Crowley

Having been raised in the church, Laurie officially gave her life to the Lord at 5 years old and has never turned away. After a personal God-encounter at Camp Shiloh following her Senior year of high school, Laurie surrendered her own personal career plans and agenda, choosing instead to accept and pursue the call of God on her life. She attended Elim Bible Institute and graduated in 2001 from the Missions tract.

Laurie came on staff at New Testament in 2002 and was ordained as a pastor in 2005. She juggles a variety of tasks, as she is called upon to serve in multiple areas that extend beyond the local church. Laurie is a director for Camp Shiloh’s summer youth camps; serves on 2 national youth ministry boards; has taught abstinence courses in several local public schools, and is called upon regularly to preach at both adult and youth gatherings.

Beyond the church, Laurie is actively involved in the local public school system where she coaches basketball, volleyball and lacrosse for both Greece Olympia and Greece Arcadia High School. Tremendous doors of opportunity have opened for her thru this venue, which she sees as her mission field.

In all she does, Laurie’s life is marked by energy, passion and commitment to the cause of Christ. Her enthusiasm and love for God and others is contagious. She endeavors to be a teenager’s biggest fan, hoping to portray to them thru this that they are loved and accepted no matter what. Her desire is to encourage and equip this generation to obtain all that God has for them. Laurie is also highly effective in communicating the Word of God in a relevant way and connecting with young people of all genres.

Some of Laurie’s personal favorites include 5am workouts, black coffee, rice krispie treats, game day, blaring the road trip song with teenagers and best of all, being an aunt.
